Thoughts on Practice
Having a good attorney/client relationship comes down to a matter of trust. Win or lose, if the client believes I did my best for them, then they will respect me. Many times, I have clients on appeal or post-conviction proceedings who have been burned by bad counsel. I can understand how they can be cautious. I always treat my clients with respect; listen to their input; and always remember that it is their lives on the line. I think that helps me be a better attorney.
